My claim was denied twice after finding out it was a plumbing issue (diverted valve). Our house is a mess due to the damage and have no idea how to fix it. Home insurance did not help us.
Our response:
This policyholder's policy did not have coverage for this claim therefore, Stillwater does not have any contractual duty under the policy to repair the home for this non-covered loss. The policyholder was advised as soon as we discovered the loss may not be covered. There is no further action required by Stillwater.
