There was a delay on my part in reporting the loss due to the storm due to the fact that I was sick almost to the point of death from April to August 2018. I explained this delay to the adjuster but the 180 days' clause in my policy was still used to deny the claim initially and this prolonged the processing of the claim. The adjuster did her best to ameliorate the situation.
