Handled well but they did not follow up with contractor I told them to contact. I received less money than was quoted from the contractor with the least expensive quote. Two quoted over $14,000 and one quoted around 12,000 - I still only received $11,000 ($10,000 less my deductible).

I was sent a blind check without a copy of the estimate. The adjuster never called my husband back after multiple messages. We were never given instructions for how to submit displacement costs or what is covered. Lodging? Meals? Serve Pro was a joke...

I was sent a blind check without a copy of the estimate. The adjuster never called my husband back after multiple messages. We were never given instructions for how to submit displacement costs or what is covered. Lodging? Meals? Serve Pro was a joke. They would say they would be there @ 9, not arrive until 11 and go to lunch at noon. I will be calling to get the payment estimate. I am pretty sure it is much lower than our bid. I asked for a copy of the estimate that he wrote and he advised he is not allowed to and that I had to call the adjuster. Definitely a bad process. I submitted a partial request for displacement reimbursement over a week ago as well as for my broken vanity granite. Please remit a payment within 10 days of this letter or call me with an explanation of why my claim has not been paid. May have conflict avoidance issues as she does not respond to my husband's voicemails and only communicates with me via snail mail and the occasional e-mail. show less
