Although several repairs could have been made (or a charger replaced) which would have been substantially less costly than replacement, Stillwater chose to pay full replacement price - no wonder premiums are so high! In addition - repairs we had made ourselves for no cost (we got manufacturers to repair items) were not documented, even though we asked that damage be reported/logged in case future additional repairs are necessary. Instead, adjuster wrote "working fine" on inspection report (of course it's working fine - we had it repaired!) show less

Called for one week before call was returned (had to leave message with supervisor). Never had a conversation about the claim process. Never received listing of what items stolen were being reimbursed and amount of reimbursement. Treated completely different from prior claim filed. Will look to change insurance company.

I have been a homeowner since 1989 and this was my first homeowner's insurance claim. In the beginning of my issue, the thought of going through the process of filing a homeowner's insurance claim seemed analogous to a root canal without painkillers. I felt overwhelmed, anxious and unsure of the process. Eventually, my claim found its way to Allen. Allen was extremely professional, patient and friendly during each stage of my claim. He clearly explained each step to me and he always kept me informed. Every time I called him, whether I left a message or spoke with him directly, Allen was patient and extremely helpful. Always speaking to me in a friendly tone, Allen regularly put me at ease. To say that Allen is an asset to Stillwater Insurance is an understatement. The world needs more people like Allen.
