As it was, it was difficult to find somebody who could order and replace the damaged equipment. Once I put the heat on and explained that NC was shutting down (unlike in FL where adjuster was located) then my claim got filled. I thought, in light of current circumstances, the processing of the claim could have been more timely. Also, the initial contact to submit my claim, not the adjuster was actually very rude and inconsiderate to me when I told her I wanted to file an initial claim. Since this is the initial contact, I felt it was a terrible way to initiate a person to Stillwater. show less

She appeared to understand the anxiety, sadness, and all other emotions that follow having ones home damaged. The gentleman who came to look at my home/damage had NO flexibility and documented conclusions without facts. He called me on a Sat, stating he would be at my home the following Tues. I explained my work schedule could not be altered on such short notice, and I was told he was leaving for Texas to celebrate Christmas, that he lived in Chino Valley (north of Phoenix), and that he would not be returning to Goodyear - so basically take it and make it work, or I would not be able to continue my claim. When his report came back, he had indicated the paint damaged by hail would "weather out." He had no time frame on which to base this comment. I visited several local paint stores - well known brands of paint used in the Phoenix market, and everyone had the same response - there was no proof or known timeline when paint from hail damage would "weather out." My home is in a master planned community - no cars parked in the front yard, no tire swings, etc. and yet my home was "spotted" from the hail, and I would have been fined had it not been repaired, or waited who knows how long (1 yr? 2 yrs? 5 yrs?) to "weather out."
