We would have been better advised had we been told to get an estimate from an independent contractor first, rather than having the appraiser first. Once the appraiser noted damage, we didn't know that a damages check would be automatically processed.

My overall experience was horrible with this company. I had to figure out things on my own. It took a week to speak to someone to even start a claim. I wouldn't want anyone to experience anything I went through with filing this claim. I can go on but it's not enough space for me to do so.
