This company is one of the worst ever in terms of fairness - You have your own set of rules when it comes to definition. Was rude to me asking me if I had the time and date of the damages ? She also told me the furnace was blown out and somebody kept vacuuming over and over that the rug ripped? Was she there? I had a contractor, painter, plumber, real estate agent, and maintenance from the management company that all saw the damage and compared the same conclusion. I have well documented photos of the damage. I have filed a formal complaint with the Insurance Commissioner of CT. show less

Everyone was nice enough however this claim was dragged out for months as the building and insurance company did not want to take responsibility. I was dealing with breast cancer and this put more stress on me. Because it was dragged out the leak from the bathroom leaked onto the brand new hall carpet. Although, Stillwater picked up my plumbing charge I ended up having to pay the majority of it as I had a $1,000 deductible. They only paid $425. show less
