Our claim took an unusually long time; there were a couple hiccups I suppose and I wasn't updated until after things had been resolved - which is good but we had a lot of pressure from the buyers. We filed on May 7 and got check on June 6. Catherine was very nice and informative but this was a lot of added stress during a stressful divorce and house sell/move.

I tried several times to have someone explain the process and our policy. I could not get my examiner to return my calls or for anyone to tell what my deductible is going to be for this claim. It was very frustrating and I'm still not 100% about what I owe because no one would give me a straight answer.

The initial person who took my report when filing the claim was not as helpful and the adjuster seemed surprised when things were not started that would have been helpful to know about during that initial call.
